Christopher O'Connell is the Opponent of Grigor Dimitrov at the Start of Australian Open

Grigor Dimitrov will be 15th seeded player of the main draw of the first Grand Slam tournament of the year. In the opening round of Australian Open the Bulgarian will play No 238 Australian Christopher O'Connell. Possible second round opponents of Grigor are Hyeon Chung of South Korea, No 104, or Renzo Olivo of Argentina, No 78. Grigor could play another seeded player in the third round, and it is No 18 Richard Guasquet of France. The Bulgarian is in the 4th quarter of the draw and can meet No 2 Novak Djokovic in the 4th round. The first round matches start on Monday.
