Grigor Dimitrov continued his winning series versus the American Michael Yani. In the first round of the $50K Challenger in Hawaii Dimitrov defeated Yani in two sets6-2 7-6(3). This way the head-to-head balance between them is 3-0 after the matches in Charlottesville, USA, in November 2009, and in Noumea, New Caledonia, in the beginning of 2010.

In the second round Grigor Dimitrov will play the winner of the match between Donald Young (USA, 20 y.o., ATP Rank 195) and Guillaume Rufin (France, 19 y.o., ATP Rank 173).
