Grigor Dimitrov continued his victorious series in the qualifications of the 100'000 USD Challenger tournament in Israel by defeated the local Gal Hakak with a result of 6-0 6-4 and entered the main draw of the tournament. For reaching this level of Israel Open Dimitrov gained 5 points for his ATP ranking balance.

The draw sent Dimitrov against the Seed 1 of the tournament and current ATP rank 67 Dudi Sela. The Israeli player Sela's best ranking was 29 in July 2009. The match will be held on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Together with theBritishplayer Alex Bogdanovic Grigor will take part in the doubles tournament too. In the first round on Monday Dimitrov/Bogdanovic will play the wild card entrants from the host country Noam Behr / Amir Wientraub.
