In a match that lasted 1 h 22 min Grigor Dimitrov defeated Grzegorz Panfil of Poland 7-6(1) 6-4. This way Grigor Dimitrov pased to the second round of the 30,000 EUR ATP Challenger in Cremona, Italy. Grigor scored 10 aces and had no double faults. In the first set both of the players won their service games and had to play tie-break, where Dimitrov won convincingly 7-1. In the second set Grigor succeeded to break the game to 5-4  and then won the service game and the set 6-4. With this win Grigor gained 5 new ATP points and 530 EUR of the prize money.

In the second round Grigor Dimitrov will face the winner of the match between Seed 5 Blaz Kavcic of Slovenia and the Argentinian Leandro Migani.
