After the subsequent series of losses Grigor Dimitrov succeeded to win in the R16 of the qualifications of the €30K ATP Challenger tournament in Cremona, Italy, where he is seed 3.

Grigor Dimitrov defeated wild card holder Riccardo Meiga of Swizterland who is still not in the ATP singles rankings with a result of 6-3 6-1.

In the main draw entry decisive match Dimitrov will play the 573 ranked Reda El Amrani of Morocco on  Sunday.
