In the announced entry list for the qualification tournament of the Australian Open which will be held during the week of 11 January Grigor Dimitrov is #3 alternate. This way most probably Grigor will play for entering the main draw of the first Grand Slam tournament of the 2010.

In the ATP ranking of 21 December Dimitrov moves one position ahead to 289 in the singles and keeps his best ever doubles position of 341.
