In the second round of the ATP Challenger in New Caledonia Grigor Dimitrov defeated the American Michael Yani 6-3 3-6 6-3 and passed to the quarterfinals.

The next opponent of Grigor is Seed 4 of the tournament 27-years-old David Guez of France, ATP Rank 146.

For reaching the quarterfinals Dimitrov gains 18 ATP ranking points and $2190 of the prize money.
