Grigor Moves to ATP Rank 314

In the rankings of 5 October 2009 Grigor Dimitrov gains 5 position and is ranked 314 despite that he did not play at any tournament last week and could not add new points. In the doubles he is at his best ever position 408.

Valentin Dimov is the new No 2 Bulgarian (position 682) ahead of Tihomir Grozdanov (696), Ivaylo Traykov (755) and Todor Enev (782).

There are no changes in Top 10 - Roger Federer (Switzerland) leads ahead of Rafael Nadal (Spain) and Andy Murray (Great Britain).

#1: Friday 9th October:

Grisha will be playing the Kolding Challenger next week. He's 8th on the list of Alternates, so has a good chance of making it into the main draw, and if he doesn't I wouldn't be at all surprised if the tournament organisers offered him one of their four wildcards.

Could well be playing the doubles as well, given his recent run in doubles by making scratch pairings in every Challenger he goes to, and having some success with it... and looking at the entry list, he could well team up with Sergei Bubka Junior, actually - Junior's 6th on the Alternates so will probably get in, but his usual partner Stakhovsky is not on the list anywhere, so Grisha could well approach him to team up for this week.
