Dimitrov Qualified for the Main Draw in Rotterdam. Plays Tsonga in First Round

Grigor Dimitrov won 2 matches of the qualifications of the €1.15 million ATP tournament in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, to qualify for the main draw. On Saturday Grigor had no problems with the No 1364 Dutch player David de Goede and won with a score of 6-1 6-2. In the match that decided which player would continue and enter the main draw Dimitrov defeated the representative of Kazakhstan Evgeny Korolev, No 193, in straight sets 6-4 6-2. For the 2 wins in the qualifications Grigor won 20 ATP ranking points.

In the first round Grigor Dimitrov will play Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France. Tsonga's current rank is 18 as he reached No 6 in 2008. The Frenchman has 5 ATP titles as one of them is Masters. In 2008 Tsonga reached the final of Australian Open where he lost to Novak Djokovic. This year he reached the semi-final in Doha, Qatar, and the third round of Australian Open. Dimotrov-Tsonga match is either on Tuesday or Wednesday.
