Grigor Dimitrov is at position 310 at this week's ATP ranking - the same as last week. In the doubles he reaches a new best ever position moving 5 places ahead to 395.

The Bulgarian players following Dimitrov in the ranking gain positions as Valentin Dimov moves to 661, Tihomir Grozdanov - to 678, Ivaylo Traykov - to 737 and Todor Enev - 770.

There are nochangesin Top 10....

Grigor Dimitrov could not show any resistance at all to Jarkko Nieminen in the first round of If Stockholm Open in Sweden. Nieminen won very convingly 6-0 6-2 and this way scored two wins against Dimitrov within 2 weeks. Wild card holder Dimitrov leaves the prestigeous ATP Worldtour tournament with no points and 5'175 EUR....

Grigor Dimitrov is at position 310 of the ATP rank announced on 19 October 2009. He loses 2 positions compared to last week's ranking. In the doubles Grigor reaches his best ever position of 400 this week.

Most of the Bulgarian tennis players move ahead in the ranking. The second best Bulgarian player Valentin Dimov is at 668 followed by Tihomir Grozdanov - at 687, Ivaylo Traykov - 744, Todor Enev - 772.

The main draw of If Stockholm Open ATP World tour will face Grigor Dimitrov and Jarkko Nieminen for the second time in two successive weeks. Earlier this week Dimitrov lost in the first round to once No 13 Nieminen in the opening round of the ATP Challenger in Kolding, Denmark. This week Nieminen lost 30 positions in the ATP ranking and occupies rank 102. After defeating Dimitrov in the first round in Kolding he lost in the second round by the Austrian Alexander Peya....

Seed 1 Jarkko Nieminen of Finland defeated Grigor Dimitrov in the first round of the ATP Challenger in Kolding, Denmark 6-2 6-7(3) 6-2.

Next week Grigor starts with wild card in the main draw of the 600'000 USD ATP tournament in Stockholm, Sweden....

Grigor Dimitrov moves new 6 position in the ATP ranking of 12 October getting closer to Top 300. His new position is 308 while in the doubles Grigor is at his best ever position 404.

Valentin Dimov, the second best ranked Bulgarian tennis player is at position 671 followed by Tihomir Grozdanov at 692, Ivaylo Traykov (746) and Todor Enev (773).

Roger Federer of Swizterland is No 1 followed by Rafael Nadal (Spain) and Andy Murray (Great Britain) with no changes in Top 12....

The draw was not favorable for Grigor Dimirov as he will play Seed 1 Jarkko Nieminen of Finland in the first round of the ATP Chalenger in Kolding, Denmark. Back in 2006 Nieminen reached No 13 of the ATP ranking. The Finish tennis player has 1 ATP title and 8 ATP tournaments finals....

In the rankings of 5 October 2009 Grigor Dimitrov gains 5 position and is ranked 314 despite that he did not play at any tournament last week and could not add new points. In the doubles he is at his best ever position 408.

Valentin Dimov is the new No 2 Bulgarian (position 682) ahead of Tihomir Grozdanov (696), Ivaylo Traykov (755) and Todor Enev (782).
