In the first round of the doubles draw of the $50K ATP Challenger tournament in Khorat, Thailand Grigor Dimitrov and Kittipong Wachiramanowong (Thailand) defeated Chris Guccione (Australia) / Marcio Torres (Brazil) with a result of 6-3 7-6(7). On Thursday the Bulgarian-Thair pair will play against the Seed 4 brothers Sanchai Ratiwatana / Sonchat Ratiwatana of Thailand.

Grigor Dimitrov gained 13 ATP points for the first round win....

Wild card holder Grigor Dimitrov lost his first round match of the $50K Challenger tournament in Khorat, Thailand with a result of 5-7 1-7 from the South African player Izak van der Merwe. The young Bulgarian will gain no ATP points and 520 USD of the prize money.

In the first round of the doubles tournament Grigor Dimitrov with his Thai partner Kittipong Wachiramanowong  will face Chris Giccione (AUS)/Marcio Torres (BRA)....

Dimitrov moved 11 positions ahead to enter the Top 400 for the first time at position 389. He added 6 points for the participation in the second round of the main draw of the Bangkok Challenger last week. The Bulgarian players who follow Dimitrov are Ivaylo Traykov at 418, Tihomir Grozdanov at 517.

Grigor Dimitrov had no difficulties in the first round match of the main draw of the 50'000 USD ATP Challenger tournament in Bangkok, Thailand.
