Grigor Dimitrov and Andy Murray played a spectacular final match in Brisbane, Australia. In the key moment the experienced Andy Murray demonstrated his higher class to defend his title 7-6(0) 6-4. Dimitrov started the match perfectly and quickly reached a lead of 3-0. Murray broke the service game of Grigor when he was serving for the set to 5-5. Dimitrov had a set-ball on Murray's serve but missed to win it and tie-break followed. Grigor could not take any point and Murray won the tie-break convincingly to 0. In the second set Grigor took by breaking the famous 7th game to 4-3. World No 3 Murray stoke back and took the service game of Grigor and then his service game to 5-4. On Dimitrov's serve to stay in the match Murray got a chance to break and did it and won the championships.

For playing at the final at Brisbane International Grigor received check for 41'500 USD and this way his total prize money from all tournaments exceeded 1 million USD. Dimitrov will be at new best position 41 on tomorrow's ranking.

Next week Grigor Dimitrov starts in the main draw of Apia International, ATP 250 tournament in Sydney. The first round opponent of Grigor is No 45 Fabio Fognini of Italy.
