Dimitrov Reached the Quarterfinals of Open d'Orléans

Grigor Dimitrov defeated the Austrian Martin Fischer, ATP rank 122, in the second round of Open d'Orléans in France with a score of 6-4 7-6(3). In the first set Grigor reached 2-0 after a break and until the end the players were winning their service games to close the set 6-4. In the second set none could break the service game of the other player and the set was decided by tie-break which was won by Dimitrov to 3. Reaching the quarterfinals brought 25 ATP ranking points to Grigor.

The opponent of Grigor for the Friday match is still to be decided between Roberto Bautista-Agut of Spain, ATP rank 164 and the winner of 1st round match Alexandre Sidorenko (France, WC, 292) and Stephane Bohli (Switzerland, 113).
