In a match that was playes 2 days, Tuesday and Wednesday, Grigor Dimitrov reached his first Wimbledon win in the men's main draw. Grigor defeated in 3 sets the qualifier Cedrik-Marsel Stebe of Germany with a result of 7-5 7-5 7-6(5). On Tuesday the Dimitrov - Stebe played 2 hours and 12 minutes and Dimitrov was leading 7-5 7-5 3-3 when the match was suspended. On Wednesday within half hour the third set ended up with tie-break. Dimitrov took it 7-5 and this way advanced to the second round.
On Thursday on the televised Court 1 Grigor will face Seed 12 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France in the second round of the tournament. The match is after the end of Novak Djokovic - Kevin Anderson tie. Two weeks ago Tsonga defeated the world No 1 Nadal at Queen's and reached the final which he lost to Andy Murray. Earlier this year in Rotterdam Tsonga defeated Dimitrov 6-4 6-4.
