Grigor Dimitrov is Seed 8 of ATP 250 in Houston, Texas

After becoming the top ranked Bulgarian tennis player ever, Grigor Dimitrov marked another achievement - he is the first seeded player at ATP tournament. As Seed 8 Dimitrov will start in the first round of the main draw against Rainer Schuettler of Germany. The 34-years-old Schuettler is at No 87 currently, his best ever rank is No 5 back in 2004. The win-loss balance of the German veteran this year is 2-6 in the main draw of ATP tournaments.

If Grigor is successful in the first round he would play Teymuraz Gabashvili of Russia or qualifier. The other seeded players of the tournament are Mardy Fish (USA), Sam Querrey (USA), Guillermo Garcia-Lopez (Spain), John Isner (USA), Benjamin Becker (Germany), Kei Nishikori (Japan), Pablo Cuevas (Uruguay).
