Seed 7 Benjamin Becker of Germany defeated wild card entry Grigor Dimitrov with a result of 6-2 6-3 in the first round of the 85000 EUR ATP Challenger tournament in the Greek island of Rhodes.

The next tournament where Grigor will play is the 100,000 USD Challenger Israel Open in Ramat HaSharon. Dimitrov enters the the main draw with wild card from the organizers....

Despite that he was not able to gain any points in the past week Grigor Dimitrov moves 5 positions ahead to 385 in the rankings of ATP published today. 

Ivaylo Traykov and Tihomir Grozdanov also gain positions and are at 448 and 591 respectively....

Next week Grigor Dimitrov starts with wild card in the first round of the main draw of the 85,000 EUR ATP Challenger tournament in Rhodes, Greece. In front of Bulgarian spectators  Grigor Dimitrov showed great tennis but was defeated by the Belgian Steve Darcis, ATP Rank 97. The first set was decided with a tie-break, which Darcis took 7-6(5). In the second set Darcis reached 5-2 and it was too late for Dimitrov to change the result so he lost with a result of 6-7(5) 3-6.
