Grigor Dimitrov moved to position No 106 in the ATP ranking announced on 29 November after his last tournament of 2010. This is new best ever rank of the young Bulgarian.

The Bulgarians following Grigor Dimitrov in the ranking are: Tihomir Grozdanov - at 563, Dimitar Kutrovsky - 568, Todor Enev - 775.

In the semifinal match of the ATP Challenger in Helsinki, Finland, Grigor Dimitrov lost in three sets to Richard Berankis, Lithuanian tennis hope. With a score of 6-7(5) 6-0 1-6 Grigor Dimitrov ends the tennis year 2010. The expected ATP ranking of the Bulgarian is 106 when announced next Monday. Dimitrov keeps very good chances to enter directly the main draw of Australian Open in January 2011.

In another 3 set match in the quarterfinals of the Helsinki Challenger Grigor Dimitrov defeated the German Julian Reister 7-6(5) 3-6 6-1 and advanced to the semifinals. In the first round of the 106'500 EUR ATP Challenger in Helsinki, Finland, Grigor Dimitrov will play Seed 1 Tobias Kamke of Germany. Th 24-years-old Kamke is No 67 of the ATP ranking which is his best ever position. In 2010 the German made a jump of 187 positions starting from 254 in January.

In the first round of the main draw of the 30K EUR ATP Challenger in Eckental, Germany, the Serbian Ilija Bozoljac defeated Grigor Dimitrov 6-4 7-6(4).
