After the second title in Bangkok last week Grigor Dimitrov moved 10 places up in the ATP ranking to reach his new best ever position of 136. Grigor added 80 ranking points for the Bangkok 2 Challenger title and 8 points were removed from last years. His current balance is 414 points equal to the 135th ranked Ramon Delgado of Paraguay. In the second round of the 35K USD Challenger in Bangkok Grigor Dimitrov defeated the Australian Matthew Ebden 6-4 6-1 and advanced to the quarterfinals. This win is 12th in a row for Grigor. Grigor Dimitrov advanced to the second round of the 35'000 USD ATP Challenger in Bangkok. Ivan Dodig of Croatia retired after injury when the result was4-6 6-2 1-0. Grigor gained 6 ATP ranking points. This was 11th consecutive match win for Dimitrov.

Grigor Dimitrov won his second Challenger title and 8th tournament title. In the final match Dimitrov defeated in straight sets Seed 4 the Russian Konstantin Kravchuk 6-4 6-1. This was the 8th time when after reaching the final Grigor subsequently becomes also the title winner. Grigor Dimitrov won instraightsets the second round match of Chang-Sat Bangkok Open against the Russian Evgeny Kirillov 6-4 6-3. This way Dimitrov gained 15 ATP ranking which will help him to reach new best ever ranking.
