Grigor Dimitrov succeeded to win a set in the second round of Cincinnati Masters against world No 6 David Ferrer of Spain but lost ultimately 6-4 1-6 7-5. Dimitrov leaves the tournament with 17'000 USD of the prize money and 45 ranking points. His new balance will allow him to improve and reach a new best rank next Monday.

Next week Dimitrov will start in the main draw of ATP 250 tournament in Winston-Salem, NC, USA, in the company of Roddick, Isner, Melzer, Davydenko, Baghdatis.
