Grigor Dimitrov and Filip Prpic (Sweden) passed to the quarterfinals of the 50K USD in Knoxville, USA. Because of foot injury of Witten it was the lucky losers Brian and Dann Battistone who started in the doubles tournament. Dimitrov/Prpic defeated the Battistone brothers 6-3 6-2 and won 13 ATP doubles points and would share 640 USD of the prize money.
