In a dramatic 3-set match Grigor Dimitrov defeated the British Alex Bogdanovic, ATP Rank 196, to advance to the quarterfinals of the EUR 42K Challenger in Nottingham, Great Britain. The young Bulgarian succeeded to win the match after losing the first set 4-6, taking the second 7-5 and after a dramatic tie-break he won the match 4-6 7-5 7-6(5). Grigor won 13 ATP points and 1245 EUR of the prize money by reaching this stage of the tournament.
In the quarterfinals Dimitrov will play the winner of the match between Seed 5 Ilia Bozoljac of Serbia, ATP Rank 131, and Sebastien Grosjean, the famous Frenchman who reached rank 4 back in 2002.
