No 16 seed Grigor Dimitrov advanced to the second round of Cincinnati Masters after defeating the Czech player Lukas Rosol 6-2 3-6 6-3. The Bulgarian needed one hour and 25 minutes to win the match. He scored 11 aces and succeeded to capitalize on three of the five break point chances.
