Dimitrov Loses Positions in the ATP Rankings

As Grigor Dimitrov could not defend his points won last year he loses 35 positions to go to 290 in the ranking of 21 September 2009. In the doubles he reached his best ranking so far 658. Next week Grigor will could fall even more in the rankings if he could not advance in the ATP challenger in Trnava where he starts today.

The other Bulgarians are far behind Dimitrov in the rankings. Tihomir Grozdanov loses 124 positions to fall to 709, Valentin Dimov keeps his position 713, Ivaylo Traykov is at 767 and Todor Enev is at 873.

As it was a week for the Davis Cup matches there are no changes in the top of the rankings. Roger Federer (Swizterland) is on top followed by Rafael Nadal (Spain) and Andy Murray (Great Britain).
