Grigor Dimitrov is at position 310 of the ATP rank announced on 19 October 2009. He loses 2 positions compared to last week's ranking. In the doubles Grigor reaches his best ever position of 400 this week.

Most of the Bulgarian tennis players move ahead in the ranking. The second best Bulgarian player Valentin Dimov is at 668 followed by Tihomir Grozdanov - at 687, Ivaylo Traykov - 744, Todor Enev - 772.

This week brings changes in To 10. Roger Federer (Switzerland) and Rafael Nadal (Spain) are at the top. Novak Djokovovic (Serbia) returns back to the third position ahead of Andy Murray (Great Britain). Juan Martin del Potro (Argentina) keeps his 5th position. Nikolay Davydenko (Russia) moves 2 position ahead to 6th while Andy Roddick (USA) and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (France) go to 7th and 8th position. Fernando Verdasco (Spain) keeps his 9th position. Gilles Simon (France) falls from Top 10 to 12th. Robin Soderling of Sweden enters Top 10 for the first time.

The first round opponent of Grigor Dimitrov in Stockholm tomorrow Jarkko Nieminen of Finland slides down from 102 to 120.
