Grigor Dimitrov won his 3rd round qualifications match vs Brian Battistone (USA) and entered the main draw of the ATP Challenger in Honolulu.
Dimitrov defeated Brian Battistone of USA in straight sets 6-1 6-2. For passing to the main draw the Bulgarian gained 3 ATP ranking points.
In the first round of the main draw Grigor will play the American Michael Yani, Seed 6 and ATP rank 159, on 27 January 2010, Wednesday. The two players met twice and Dimitrov has two wins - in November 2009 at Charlottesville Challenger and earlier this month in Noumea, New Caledonia.
