Grigor Dimitrov in the Quarterfinals in Segovia

Grigor Dimitrov defeated in straight sets 6-3 6-2 Seed 7 Roko Karanusic of Croatia, ATP Rank 119, in the second round of Castilla y Leon Open ATP challenger. In the match that lasted about one hour Grigor scored 7 aces and had 64% success of his first service. By reaching the quarter-finals Grigor gains 25 ATP ranking points and 3100 EUR of the prize money. The quarterfinals in Segovia are the third in the ATP Challenger tournaments that Dimitrov have reached this year after the tournaments in Cremona, Italy and Nottingham, Great Britain.

The opponent of Dimitrov for the match that will decide the semi-finalist will be either Marcel Granollers of Spain, Seed 4 and ATP rank 98, or the qualifier Jean-Noel Insausti of France, ATP Rank 431, who will play later today.
