In the qualifications of the 30`000 € ATP Challenger tournament in Recanati, Italy on hard Grigor Dimitrov will start directly in the second round as seed 3 of the draw. His first match opponent will be decided later today from the match between Roman Valent, wild card entry from Switzerland, with no ATP Rank currently, and Nikola Mektic of Croatia, ATP Rank 545.
If successful Grigor will have to play another match in the qualifications for entry in the main draw. The top-ranked possible opponent of that match is Seed 6 and ATP Rank 427 the Frenchman Jean-Noel Insausti.
